Caleb Tesfaye is a 2028 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Collegeville, PA who attends Devon Prep. Recorded a 8.26 second sixty yard dash time. Big athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Primary first baseman with a lower arm slot out of hand. Developing feel for the glove with some accuracy on feeds when the arm was on time. Secondary outfielder with some arm strength and gets on top of throws. Also threw on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from the middle of the rubber with a low three- quarter arm slot and a full arm swing. Firmer front side and deliberate in-line. Short top-to-bottom curveball (1902 RPM) with 10-4 shape. The fastball (1883 RPM) was up to 77 and stayed low-to-mid-70s throughout with some run off the seams. Pitched to contact with upside to grow into frame. Right handed hitter starts from a closed stance with wrapped hands and sprayed line drives through the gaps. Exciting player with good upside. Good student.
