Justin Collins is a 2017 C/3B/1B with a 6-0 220 lb. frame from Houston, TX. Large, athletic with broad shoulders and a strong, mature frame. Ran a 7.71 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, receives out front, gets tall at release, accurate throws down second base with strength and carry, will improve pop time with incorporation of lower half into actions. Right-handed hitter, lower hand set with an upper body swing. Long swing, shows strength coming off the barrel with jump to the middle of the field. Swings hard and shows an aggressive approach, uses strength to generate nice bat speed coming through the zone.
