Andruw Giles is a 2026 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Basic. Solid frame with some strength showing. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash. Worked out as a primary outfielder who showed off fluid actions with a good arm. The ball carried on his throws, getting to the bag. Smooth and fluid actions helped him get to the ball and work through it. A left-handed hitter who starts more narrow with an upright look. Keeps the hands set high and back elbow up, with the feet slightly open. Uses a hovering leg lift, to get the foot down. Stays shorter to the ball with some looseness in his hands. Produced contact to all fields. Also took to the mound as a left-handed pitcher. Showed off good arm speed overall. His fastball had some life to it, working up to 81 mph. He mixed in a sweeping curveball, turning to it more later in his outing. Also flashed a changeup in the repertoire on occasion.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
