Blake Flauaus is a 2028 C/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Grand Oaks. Big and strong young build with present strength throughout his frame and room to continue developing physically. 7.60 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense who shows developing actions behind the plate, with some feel for receiving and a compact transfer. Arm strength is building and throws showed accuracy as the session went on. Also takes reps at third base, where he handles the ball deep and flashes some carry across the diamond. At the plate, starts with a narrow, open stance and shows good barrel control with a flat, direct path to the ball. Strength in the hands allows him to impact the baseball when timed up. Still working to consistently stay balanced and on time, but there's some natural thump when he gets extended and drives the ball to the middle of the field. Competitive young hitter with a foundation to build on.
