Hunter Mixon is a 2026 RHP/3B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Roanoke, VA who attends Hidden Valley. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Works from the stretch from the first base side of the rubber, low hand set to start, clean in line arm action to an over the top arm slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, gets very good run and sink at times, got hitters to consistently swing over the ball. Threw both a short and late slider that was more like a cutter to go with a 12/6 downer curveball, tended to drop his arm slot on this pitch. Threw strikes and competed hard and got outs, good bet to keep improving as he gets stronger. 7.84 runner in the sixty. Worked out both in the infield and outfield, showed slower step by step actions at both positions. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a low and tight hand load, limited separation through contact, flashed some raw strength when he got out front. Good student.
