Will McCrory is a 2023 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Clinton, MS who attends Jackson Academy. Tall and slender build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.51 runner in the sixty. Showed good body control and soft hands on defense in the middle infield, pretty fluid to the ball, tends to straighten up to throw, still developing his arm strength across the diamond. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced slightly open stance with a leg lift trigger, short and direct swing with a middle of the field high contact approach, bat speed will continue to improve with increased strength and physical maturity. Also pitched, simple delivery that he repeats well. Threw strikes with a low 70's fastball that cut effectively. Breaking ball was his best pitch, showed both a short slider and a bigger curveball version and had feel for landing the breaking ball for strikes. Good student.

Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
