Chanz Chancey is a 2028 C/2B/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends The Stony Brook. Athletic young build. 6.94 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, showed good agility in the games, presented a low target with a wide base, made accurate throws. Also worked out in the outfield and showed good athleticism working through the ball with a quick release on his throws. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow base with a deep hand load and a knee lift trigger, segmented swing with an early front side and rotational mechanics. Good student.
