Cason Wargo is a 2029 2B/RHP with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Clanton, AL who attends Jemison. Long and lean young build. Right handed hitter, sets up slightly open with a small leg raise and long stride into contact, deep hand load, longer swing path to the ball, mostly line drive contact, has some young impact when he can get the barrel out on time, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and adjustments to shorten his path. 7.58 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense, has soft hands and fields the ball cleanly, throws from a lower arm slot, footwork and routes to the ball are still developing. Also pitched, works from a high leg raise delivery with a compact arm action and low 3/4's arm slot, lands a bit open on his front side, can get more efficient with his lower half coming down the mound. Fastball was in the low 70's with some sinking life and topped out at 74 mph, also threw a soft slider.
