Nolan Taylor is a 2028 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Denver, CO who attends Northfield. Features a taller athletic build with some lean projection. Ran a 7.10 60-yd dash. Showed quality actions in both the INF + OF. On the dirt, showed feel for footwork to and through the baseball. Developing glove actions noticeably to the glovehand side but fielded most clean. Some stiffness to the arm action getting off accurate throws with avg. strength across (75 mph). In the OF, showed intent and aggressiveness in attacking the baseball creating momentum to and through it. Worked to a quick release where the arm showed a bit more strength and carry to the bag where he was 3/5 accurate. At the plate, worked from a narrow base and iniated into launch early with a medium lift. Hands worked the barrel on a more shorter/direct entry which resulted in a lot of on the ground contact. Some inconsistency in catching it out front. Flashes of quality bat speed and strength with best results being some driven fly balls through the middle of the field. On the mound, showed a more traditional and repeatable operation where he works with pace and good extension down the mound. Clean arm action showing easy adv. armspeed for his level to a higher 3/4 slot. FB worked up to 85, showing normal 4S shape that produced some in-zone whiff. Mixed in a developing low 60s breaker with 12/6 action. Named to Top Prospects List.
