Maverick Chotai is a 2027 OF/ with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Menlo Park, CA. Features a tall, athletic projectable build with room to add strength. Defensively Chotai showed well in the outfield using the proper footwork and fielding techniques. Got to the ball quickly and got rid of it promptly. Showed the ability to one-hop the mit accurately with some carry. At the plate, Chotai starts in an upright stance and uses a simple loading mechanism with his hands that have a slight hitch. Shows present bat speed and the ability to square the ball up consistently. Tries to lift the ball using a heavy pull approach.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
