Tison McCray is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Lake City, FL who attends Columbia. Tall and athletic frame with well proportioned strength in the frame. 7.62 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, wide base with high hands and back elbow set in the stance, deep hand load, uses the lower half well. Got the barrel out front and impacted to the pull-side consistently in the round. Strength really stands out. Primary outfielder, under control on the charge in, breaks down and fields with one hand on the side of the frame, long arm swing to a higher release. Long hop accuracy around the bag, solid arm strength, recorded throws up to 79 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, clean operation, full path in the back to a high three-quarters slot. Fastball comes out of the hand well, commands to the arm-side, up to 81 mph (1874 RPM). Slider is a solid pitch with depth, up to 70 mph (1794 RPM). Tremendous student. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
