Andrew Jacobs is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Peoria, AZ who attends Mountain Ridge. Lean and athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Has an athletic drop and drive delivery with low 3/4's to almost side arm release slot, arm is loose and fast with lots of extension out front, gets down the mound aggressively. Fastball topped out at 92 mph with big sinking and running action. Got the same type of sink but less run on a low spin change up. Threw a big sweeping slurve type breaking ball that was effective in the strike zone, should be able to add a shorter, firmer slider to compliment his present breaking ball in the future. Tough at-bat for a right handed hitter. Good student, verbal commitment to Arizona.
