2023 West Academic Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Max Adolph is a 2024 RHP/3B, OF with a projectable 6-2 192 lb. athletic frame from Valley Center, CA who attends Mt. Carmel HS. Started off the week clocking a 6.91 60-yard dash. A primary pitcher featuring a 3-pitch mix (FB, SL, CH) out of a 3/4 slot. Fastball shows glove side cutting action. Has fundamentally sound mechanics with a clean repeatable delivery. Works downhill well in a linear fashion. Was able to produce swing and miss up in the zone with his fastball and induce weak ground balls with his secondaries. Has a quick arm indicating there may be more velocity down the line. Adolph is a multi-positional athlete who performed well in the outfield as well. At the plate he used his strength to barrel up balls consistently in the gap showing that there may be some power potential in the future.
