2022 13U/14U Southwest Showcase
Cayde Stajcar is a 2026 SS/RHP, MIF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Butte, MT who attends Butte. Posted a 7.03 in the 60. Primary SS is a very projectable lean and physical build with great athletic upside present showing plenty of potential to advance into his prep career. His arm strength in the infield plays very effective with feel to change slots. His infield actions highlight his athleticism and footwork showing awareness ranging to both sides smoothly with a soft glove. In the outfield his process through the play fits his infield mechanics with good raw ability present to progress there. The right-hander also pitched topping the fastball out at 79 and landing a consistent 11/5 shape breaking ball flashing feel to spin. He tunnels his pitches well and repeats the fluid delivery. Impressive control downhill for a developing frame projecting very well down the line. At the plate the potential is there to advance as a hitter with some moving parts in the swing to connect. Developing feel for the barrel and release, flashed great impact to build on when he connected best. Really showed off the tools and mature actions on the mound for the class to be versatile. Named to the 2022 13U/14U Southwest Showcase Top Prospects List.
