2021 Fall Connecticut Showcase
William Waterbury is a 2022 OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Oswego, NY who attends Oswego. Long and lean square shouldered athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall and open stance, pre-loads his lower half and doesn't always get off his backside, has fast hands and creates bat speed and barrel whip when he's on time and working through the ball, gets the ball in the air and generates lots of gap to gap carry, projects as a hitter with additional strength and some adjustments. 7.29 runner in the sixty. Has good athletic actions in the outfield with a multi-piece transfer and release, high front side throwing with a long and loose arm action coming through, good carry on his throws. Good student. Named to the Fall Connecticut Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
