Kirin Lawing is a 2024 OF/RHP with an athletic 6-1 195 lb. physical frame from Fort Collins, CO. Started off the event clocking a 7.10 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder that pitched as well. Lawing is an athletic mover to and through the ball and shows confidence in his actions. Throws up to 90 mph to the bags with plus arm strength and accuracy. Secondary RHP who works out of the stretch exclusively, using belt high leg lift before accelerating through a high 3/4 arm angle. Has loose arm action creating fastball up to 87 mph and a big vertical curveball and got better as he progressed through outing. Right handed hitter, using an upright and open base with a high handset tight to body. Shows loose, free barrel action and when on plane. High to low hand load causes some inconsistency but there is hand speed and hit tool here. Good student.
