Maximo Gutierrez is a 2028 C/3B/SS with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Alamo Heights. Compact and strong build. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with a high back elbow load and a toe tap timer, has lots of bat speed when he gets extended through contact, will hand cuff himself at times, ball gets some jump off the barrel when everything comes together, projectable hitting tools. 7.46 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, receives the ball out front with soft hands, quick glove to hand exchange, tends to pause at the top of his release, made accurate throws with some young carry. Good student.
