Jayden Pierce is a 2026 OF/RHP/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Indianapolis, IN who attends Greenwood Community. Features a medium-sized build with some present athleticism. Ran a 7.23 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed good intent and quickness in his approach . Consistent out front reception with clean exchange. Gets into a max effort arm action with noticeable head wack but creates some quality arm strength (86 mph) where throws were made on-line. At the plate, sits in an even base, uses a toe tap trigger and sinks a bit into his lower half. Present quickness to the hands and hips supply some quality bat speed. Big intent to each swing. Barrel path worked more uphill to the baseball. Produced gap-to-gap line drives when on-barrel but was off time at times. On the mound, the arm action in the OF translated where it is an efforty operation. Uses a hands over head delivery and works more drop/drive down the mound where he creates good length to his stride. Uses a longer arm action out the glove that works with above avg. armspeed to a 3/4 slot. Ran the FB up to 81 where it exhibited normal 4S shape. Mixed in a mid 60s breaker with varying shape, at times looking sweepy and other times slurvy. Inconsistent command/control throughout, but when in rhythm it was quality strikes.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
