RJ Coleman is a 2024 RHP/2B/SS with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Iselin, NJ who attends John F Kennedy Memorial. Coleman works from a lean build with additional room to fill out and add strength. On the mound, he started from the 1B side of the rubber displaying a belt high glove set with deception to the mechanics. Coleman hid the ball well and made it tough for hitters to pick up out of the hand, using a compact arm action and high 3/4 release to top out at 82 mph. He had evident feel for spin in the arsenal with a CB flashing steep vertical plane up to 2402 rpm. The arm speed carried over to the IF where Coleman topped out at 85 mph across the diamond with clean gathers as well as the ability to change slots when needed. At the plate, the righty started from an even base with a high hand set and some hover to the leg trigger that produced line drive contact to all parts of the field. He showcased the ability to hit in game and produce backspin, posting an exit velo of 76 mph. Ran a 5.09 forty yard dash.
