Brendan Beery is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 6-2 197 lb. frame from Coral Gables, FL who attends Gulliver Schools. Large, broad shouldered frame with present strength and additional room to fill. Ran a 7.55 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works with a full wind up from the middle of the rubber, short side step into a belt high leg lift; delivery tempo throughout delivery with a medium length arm stroke through the back working to a three-quarters release point. Can continue to implement additional lower half into drive down the mound and finish over front side. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, mostly true in life but worked around the zone and mixed a short slider up to 68 and a mid-60s curveball which features more north/south depth. Moves around the first base bag well with footwork, tall target for fielders, fields the ball out front with two hands, actions play. Right-handed hitter, begins with a medium and even base in the box; upper body dominant swing, handsy stroke and can implement additional lower half weight shift moving into contact. Shows strength at the point of contact and put one out during BP to the pull side, consistent contact to left field throughout round, additional strength to come with further lower half involvement. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
