Jared Milsap is a 2026 SS/2B/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Purvis, MS who attends Oak Grove. Medium build with some compact strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a simple load and timer, low and tight hand set to start, gets off his back side well with a short stride into contact, hits under control and makes consistent pull side line drive contact, looks to have the strength in his swing to open it up some and become more aggressive. 6.92 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense with second base tools, has some foot and lower half quickness and works around the ball with good lateral agility, clean glove work to the back hand and charged the ball well, developing arm strength. Also worked out in the outfield and showed some bouncy athleticism out there as well, carries his momentum through his throws and makes accurate throws. Good overall athlete, key to development will be in developing his bat speed and aggressiveness at the plate.
