Austin Middleton is a 2029 OF/RHP/2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Monroe, NJ who attends Monroe Twp. Medium, high-waisted build with plenty of physical projection remaining. 7.65 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder, gets a good first step on the baseball and works through it with sound footwork. Fields the baseball out front. Tends to get uphill a bit into release. Delivered online throws up to 77 mph from the outfield. Secondary pitcher, operates from a full wind-up delivery and pushes off the first base side of the rubber. Lifts his leg up to the belt before separating into an inline arm path. Whips the arm through a low 3/4 arm slot. Tends to open up the front-side a bit early. Fastball showed arm-side run with good location, peaking at 77 mph. Mixed in a 12-6 curveball with spin up to 2203 rpm. Right-handed batter, starts in an even stance with a low back elbow. Utilizes a toe-tap trigger for timing before working into a line drive stroke. Produced consistent contact to the middle of the field during batting practice with some feel to create extension and leverage to the pull-side. Power will continue to improve as he adds strength and physically matures. Posted an exit velocity of 82 mph.
