Walker Whitehead is a 2028 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Brandon, MS who attends Pisgah. Long and slender young pitchers build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from a high knee lift delivery, fast paced and will get his body out ahead of his arm at times, low 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, still developing consistency on his release point and ability to repeat. Threw mostly fastballs, developing feel for a curveball. Secondary corner infielder on defense, has step by step actions to and through the ball, two-piece actions catching to throwing, showed some young arm strength on his throws. Right handed hitter, sets up with high hands and a toe tap timer, long and extended swing path, bat speed will continue to develop with additional strength. Good student.
