Cayden Ham is a 2028 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Pikeville, NC who attends Charles B Aycock. Recorded a 7.22 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a medium frame. Showed quality fundamentals and footwork in the infield, taking efficient angles. Has the ability to change slots when needed and glovework was clean throughout. Also worked out in the outfield and rounded the ball well. Medium length arm stroke through the back and released from a mid-3/4 slot, recording throws up to 80 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter and starts from a medium base with even feet in the box. Employs a deep toe tap trigger to get the swing going. Flashed impact and good strength at the point of contact. Swings the bat to do damage with pull side pop and produced good results in game too. Secondary right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a leg lift to waist level. Drop and drive mechanics and arm action is longer. Releases from a high-3/4 slot and fastball topped at 76 mph. Fastball has some carry and nice life, mixing in a 11-5 shaped curveball to pair with some nice snap to it. Named to the 2025 PG 14U Coastall All-State Games Top Prospect List.
