Shea Tyrrell is a 2029 C/RHP/UT with a 5-3 105 lb. frame from Johnstown, PA who attends Johnstown Christian. Tyrrell works from a young lean build with plenty of time to fill out and add strength as a '29 prospect. Exclusively from his primary spot behind the plate, displayed a slight side saddle set with good bounce in the footwork. Received out in front with further room to work on top of throws and generate downhill momentum. Should continue to see arm strength improve as physicality is added. On the offensive end, the righty started from a slightly open base with a high hand set and low back elbow. Intent to create opposite field contact with simple stride into impact. Should see more consistency as barrel control refines in the future. Ran a 9.89 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
