Jack Coleman is a 2026 LHP/1B with a 6-2 208 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Acellus Academy. Primary LHP with a big physical frame. Threw from the stretch only starting on the third base side of the rubber. Uses a belt high leg lift to work downhill while throwing from a 3/4 slot. Fastball worked up to 82 with good life to it and could locate it while getting some arm extension. Went to an upper-60s curve with big sweep to it and was used efficiently as a good secondary offering. Sequenced well and kept hitters off balance. Also played first with good footwork around the bag for his size. Fielded it cleanly and has a pretty strong-arm making throws on a line with accuracy. Was up to 80 from first. Left-handed hitter with a wider base and is physical in the box. Uses a small heel lift trigger for timing and rhythm. Small hand load that stays tight. Showed some quickness in the hand. Will need to tap into his lower half more moving forward but power projects pretty well here. Good Student.
