Landon Chaffin is a 2027 3B/RHP, SS with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Kansas City, MO who attends Liberty North. Medium frame, slender with projection, ran 60 yard dash in 7.74 seconds. Hits from even based stance, gains ground well and strides, loose stroke with linear path, doing a nice job of getting the barrel out front, projects well as he matures. Worked out in the infield, compact arm stroke and light on feet, shows good lateral range, fields clean and works through, clocked up to 71 mph on throws across. Also pitched, compact arm stroke with quick arm, fastball worked 67-71 mph, slider has lateral bite, threw strikes.
