Jacoby Dicranian is a 2027 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Bennington, VT who attends Mount Anthony Union. Lean young build with square shoulders and plenty of physical projectability remaining. 5.02 runner in the forty. Primary shortstop on defense, has athletic actions to the ball and fields it cleanly, long and loose arm action. Also worked out in the outfield and his actions and athleticism graded out higher there, long strider to the ball with a clean transition and the same long and loose arm action, made very accurate on line throws. Left handed hitter, starts from an open stance, gets to his front side when closing and will occasionally leave his hands behind, flashed some quickness to his hands and had some mid field to pull side line drive contact, solid swing elements to build on as he gets stronger. Took a turn on the mound, has a high leg raise delivery with a medium length arm takeaway to a high 3/4's arm slot, repeats his delivery well. Fastball topped out at 78 mph with plenty of cutting action at times, has been up to 82 mph at PG events in the past. Was a primary breaking ball pitcher this outing and showed nice feel for spinning the ball and throwing strikes, has a chance as a pitcher with improved strength and velocity. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
