Preston Hill is a 2026 OF/RHP/2B with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Charleston, WV who attends IMG Academy. Hill works from a young projectable build with further room to fill out and add strength as a '26 prospect. Starting from the OF, showcased a compact arm action with developing range and footwork displayed. Did a nice job of keeping throws around the bag, ultimately topping out at 75 mph. Displayed reliable glove work from the IF with feel for an internal clock, topping out at 74 mph across the diamond. On the mound, showcased clear ability to work backwards in counts with developing spin profile in the arsenal. CB vertically shaped, registering at 1936 rpm. Recorded outs efficiently with the FB up to 75 mph. Offensively, the righty started from a wider slightly open base with a lower hand set and high back elbow. Utilized a leg lift trigger with intent to generate impact out in front. Posted an exit velo of 78 mph. Ran a 7.14 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
