Eddie Hourigan, Jr is a 2029 RHP/1B/3B with a 5-11 163 lb. frame from Panama City Beach, FL. Lean young build. Has a loose arm action with some whip to it from an extended 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, mostly straight but throws lots of strikes with his fastball and challenges hitters. Occasionally drops in a soft curveball with some 11/5 depth that created weak swings. Good early arm talent that should keep improving. 7.24 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound, has some athleticism with the same arm action as on the mound, tends to get his glove down late at times, makes accurate one-hop throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a short hands driven downhill swing, hands stay tight and inside, hits to all fields.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
