Christian Loftus is a 2026 2B/RHP with a 5-9 125 lb. frame from Annapolis, MD who attends Gonzaga College. Young athlete with lean current frame, some wiry strength and a lot of time to add overall physicality. Primary position IF, moving pretty well on his feet as he attacks the ball with proper angles. Flashes glove late to the ball but it is accurate and out front. Deep funnel to midline transfer and making plays with regularity. More arm strength ahead, making accurate throws across the diamond up to 72 mph. Secondary RHP, working from a full windup and leg lift to the belt before working in a good line down the mound. Some timing issues initially but attacked the strike zone with a true FB up to 68 mph and pretty good spin for a young arm. CB showed late action and the type of spin that profiles long term as a quality secondary offering. RHH working from an even and balanced stance with a good handset. Active feet causing some timing issues but the swing plane is on point. As physical strength improves there is some nice projection to the bat and it will play better and better with time. Nice two-way opportunity and it will be interesting to watch it develop in the coming years. Outstanding student.
