Blake Burrell is a 2011 RHP with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Moreno Valley, CA who attends Canyon Springs HS. Shorter compact build, very good upper body strength. Compact power type arm action, drop and drive delivery, high 3/4's release point. Fast arm, 89-92 mph fastball, occ sink on fastball, power slider best pitch, hard and sharp bite up to 84 mph, immediate out pitch at next level, has some feel for a change up. More consistent FB life will be key. Nice arm.
