- Quality actions. Present feel for the footwork. Gets through the backhand better than the GBs right at him and to the forehand side. Glove sets down early and fields it clean with a good funnel to belt. Avg. quickness to his feet and to his exchange. All wrist to his shorter arm action that gives him limited strength on throws.
- Continue to work on fielding GBs with pace and urgency. Maybe lengthen out the arm action some more to help in getting more on your throws.
Hitting
- Simple/early trigger. Smaller sway/gather into backside as hands push back into launch. Some lateness into footstrike/launch. Falls into contact and doesn't allow himself to turn behind the baseball. Hands push through for a steeper/downward path. Hands did flash quality quickness.
- I would suggest cues that allow him to create some more barrel depth. Possibly creating more torso tilt early and allow the rear elbow and shoulder to turn before the hands go. Also just work on consistent timing where the swing isn't grooved into your timing mechanism, make sure you feel yourself get into the ground with time and balance and then initiate the swing.
