2004 Underclass National Showcase
Devin Donovan -- Donovan is a wiry sophomore right hander with clean pitching mechanics and a loose arm. He throws from a standard ¾’s release point and has somewhat of a long arm stroke. Donovan’s fastball topped out at 81 mph during his 2 inning stint. His curveball varied anywhere from 62-68 mph with a slider type of break to it. Seems to have good command of several pitches and really mixes it up. He projects very nicely. Devin is a good student and he's only a sophomore. Keep a close eye on him.
