Heath Filipp is a 2029 SS/RHP/UT with a 5-5 130 lb. frame from Needville, TX who attends Boling. Younger and lean frame with lots of time to continue growing. Ran a 7.85 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, solid footwork on the dirt and worked best to the glove side. Developing range, fields the baseball with a two hand funnel out front and bends at the waist, solid arm strength across for the age with more coming as strength is added, recording throws up to 74 mph. Right-handed hitter, high hands and back elbow with medium and even feet, fights to keep the hands inside the baseball and impacts to the opposite field regularly. Flashed middle of the field impact. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full windup with a above the belt leg lift. Works down the mound cleanly, arm works well to a high three-quarters slot. Two pitch mix, fastball with arm-side life to it up to 73 mph (1700 RPM) and showed a curveball with downward bite, up to 58 mph (1693 RPM). Showed similar arm strength as the infield in the outfield as well, recording throws up to 72 mph with solid actions. Good student.
