Gavin Marsh is a 2027 OF with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Lakewood, CO who attends Mullen. Good sized frame with projectable levers and athleticism for the age, Primary outfielder, clean footwork and works to the baseball with intent, smooth one hand gather to side and works through the baseball some, long full arm swing to the three-quarters slot, accurate low line throws up to 80-mph from the spot, produced some carry, comfortable in the grass with projectable actions and arm strength. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full high leg raise delivery, arm works well, long and loose with it, some arm side run on the fastball, some feel to spin the low 60's curveball, quick and efficient inning of work. Took reps in the infield, deliberate feet laterally, stops at the ball some, deeper backhand, slower process here but made the plays with ease, serviceable round with an accurate arm that translated from the grass. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance with high hands and back elbow set, hovering trigger out to contact, leans into backside, swings it hard with a level path, on the barrel for most of the round, middle to pull side contact, repeats operation well, some feel for it in the box, lean strength shows here, consistent round. Projectable prospect with lean strength and arm talent to pair with bat speed. Named to the 2023 13U/14U Sunshine Rocky Mountain Top Prospect List.
