Adrian Valencia is a 2027 C/RHP/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Culver City, CA who attends Loyola. Features a medium sized build with present strength and athleticism. Ran a 7.18 60-yd dash. Behind the plate, operated from both a knee down and side saddle set up. Showed a quality exchange/transfer that was both quick/compact. Arm action varied working short at times and a couple with some stabby length in the back but displaying quality strength/carry to the bag with accuracy. Gains good ground as well out the crouch with on-line direction. At the plate, sits in a wider base and uses a simple lift and smaller hand load. Barrel work on a more direct/handsy entry through the zone that flattens out a bit out front. Flashed quality bat speed and strength at impact. More pull side oriented apporach. Stayed behind it well and displayed strong feel for the barrel resulting in a ton of hard contact into left. Named to Top Prospects List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
