2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (26-27 Grads)
Grant Hays is a 2027 3B/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Torrance, CA who attends West Torrance. Big and strong build. Right handed hitter, loads early to his back side, busy hand drop load, multiple part swing mechanics but stayed on time well, swings hard and creates bat speed, good lower half rotation, got the ball in the air with some back spin and carry, has hitting tools to continue to develop. 7.45 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, plays low and behind the ball and fields the ball cleanly, athletic actions moving to the ball, longer arm action with fair arm strength. Took a turn on the mound, throws from a simple side step/high leg raise delivery with a short stride out front and a low 3/4's arm slot. Threw only fastballs and topped out at 72 mph. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
