Jake Dutcher is a 2028 OF/3B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Seal Beach, CA who attends Mater Dei. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball off to the side on approach, young footwork but does a nice job of maintaining momentum through the ball and into release, works on top of the ball with throws and shows low and on line carry out of the hand to the intended target. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even base in the box and utilizes a balanced stride moving into contact. Does a nice job of holding angles in swing and shows ability to turn over the barrel, occasionally gets uphill with path when looking to lift. Incorporates some present physical strength into swing, bat speed will continue to develop, has tools to build upon.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
