Jackson Potter is a 2027 C/3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Canyon Del Oro. Medium build with good present strength. 7.79 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, replaces his feet well, stays compact with his transfer and release, clean fundamentals in al his actions, makes accurate throws, arm strength still developing. Also worked out in the infield with very similar actions, stays balanced well and fields the ball cleanly, makes accurate throws. Plays above his present physical tools at both positions. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with hand drop load to go with his stride, hits through the ball with good back side connection, line drives to all fields. Also pitched, has drop and drive mechanics down the mound with a 3/4's arm slot, has energy at release and will get out of control at times. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, mostly straight, showed developing feel for a short slider. Good student
