Cooper Gribbons is a 2027 1B/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Casteel. Features a medium build with some strength present. Ran an 8.30 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman. Showed the ability to make the routine play. Sound feet and glove actions lead to accurate throws, especially on double play feeds. Reached 71 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a narrow stance with a low hand setup. Showcases loose hands with a whippy barrel at times. Still developing consistent timing and strength at impact. Incorporating the lower half would help add power. Right-handed pitcher. Uses drop and drive mechanics down the mound. Shows a clean arm path using a short arm action into a 3/4 slot release. Fastball sat 73-77 mph. Looks to get contact early in counts. Slider sat 63-65 mph (2115 rpm) with some depth to it. Will show it early in counts. Can create bite when spun well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
