Gavin Kleist is a 2025 3B/RHP, C with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Peoria, IL, who attends Limestone Community. A bigger frame with some physicality to the build showing. Ran an 8.20 60-yard dash. Primary infielder who looked the part of a corner infielder. Had a good backhand with the ability to make the plays. Moved well laterally to get in position to field the ball. Throws were accurate, and made the outs at first. Threw 78 mph across the infield. A left-handed hitter with open feet and a high hand set with his back elbow up. He gets his hands to it and meets it out front. Makes an inward move to the ball as he strides. Made some solid contact with the ability to lift showing at times during his round of BP. Great student.
