Tristan Delaney is a 2028 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-4 115 lb. frame from Apex, NC who attends Apex Friendship. Medium frame for a young athlete with lean muscularity and plenty of time to add. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.88 seconds. Primary position IF, working deliberately through his reps and active with his feet as he went. Presents the glove out front well, working into a deeper funnel. Some feel for the spot, accurate arm up to 68 mph across the diamond and showing ability to change angles. Reps in OF, getting to the ball well with two hand operation. Quick transfer into full arm path. RHP working exclusively from the stretch and 3B side of the rubber. Belt high leg lift and breaks hands at the belt into shallow mostly inline arm path. Over the top arm angle, with a lot of strikes and FB up to 68 mph with sinking life. No secondary pitches on this day but moved the game forward with strikes. RHH starting with an even stance, longer take away and flat bat pre-pitch. Hand speed is present with a bit of length to impact. Should develop into more power with time and maturity. A lot ahead of him with the full compliment of skills and plenty of time to refine.
