Scott Miner II is a 2028 C/RHP/3B/OF with a 5-9 178 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Westview High School. Strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a simple stride into contact, gets into his hips well to start his swing, gets in slot early with his hands, has fast hands and drives through the all, strength at contact, has hitting to tools to continue to develop. 6.97 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, jumping out at the ball in anticipation of the throw. He covers ground to second base and throws with a longer arm action. He showed a strong arm from behind the plate. Secondary right-handed pitcher that uses a knee to belt leg kick. He uses a short arm action and fires from a 3/4 slot. He works in line with the plate well and fills up the zone with his fastball. His curveball has 12-6 shape and looser spin with developing break. Also worked out on the infield, showing a quick release. In the outfield he attacks the ball and showed the ability to make strong, accurate throws.
