Cooper Neff is a 2028 LHP/1B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Martinez, CA who attends De La Salle. Lean athletic build. On the mound, its a full windup with belt high leg lift and clean operation working in line down the slope. Shorter length arm stroke to a high three-quarters release. Works quick and gets ahead with the fastball. Offering shows good arm side run . Flahed a slider with tight spin and late depth as well as a changeup with arm side tumbling action. Athletic operation. Also plays first base when not on the mound. Left-handed hitter, wide base, high back elbow, and heel turn load. Stiff hands with fringe bat speed present. Slight loft in the path with pull side line drive results. 7.75 60-yard. Named to the Top Prospect list.
