In the OF, displayed fundamental actions. Balanced approach to the baseball. Avg. quickness to the first step and waited back at times but fielded it clean and out front at reception. Long arm action out the glove that works to a higher slot and got off on-line and downhill throws to the bag with above avg. strength for his level. At the plate, sits in an even base with hands hanging over home plate and barrel pre tipped. No-stride to the lower-half with a sway into the backside. Smaller takeback of the hands. Barrel path works more handsy/downard to the baseball. Avg. bat/hand speed for his level. Inconsistent barrel feel and timing. Mostly GB contact during his round but quality LDs when he caught it out front. On the mound, he side steps into a mid-chest knee tuck. Loads well and stays balanced over the rubber. Longer arm action that gets to a normal 3/4 slot with adv. arm speed/strength for his level. Some effort/grunt in the delivery, at times some spin off toward 1B side. Lands on-line with a good hard finish. Ran his fastball into the low 80s that had normal shape at flashed some cut at times. Mixed in a rolling upper 60s breaker and a generic low 70s changeup that are both still developing.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
