Trey Hauge is a 2025 3B/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Madison, WI who attends Monona Grove. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, quiet and sound footwork with bounce to step, double tap moving into release, short and compact arm action with accuracy across, arm strength will continue to develop on throws, maintains balance on the slow roller play. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, knee to chest leg kick and gathers weight onto backside over the rubber; longer arm action with drop and drive mechanics towards the plate in lower half. Fastball topped out at 71 mph from a three-quarters slot, mostly true in life and pitched to contact. Firm changeup but showed nice depth up to 67 mph and mixed a curveball with 12-6 shape and nice depth at 63 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread stance and utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Static lower half and can implement weight shift moving into contact; handsy stroke with a longer path through the zone, best contact to the middle of the field. Linear path through the zone with line drive carry coming off when squared. Very good student.
