Liam Haynes is a 2026 RHP/IF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Marina. Fetaures smaller build with some athleticism present. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. Worked out on the infield. Charges the ball hard with solid rnage in both directions. Still developing consistent body control throughout the approach. Can make the routine play consistently. Glove works through hops well when on times. Flashed solid arm strength across the diamond, reaching 76 mph. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a square stance with a relaxed setup. Swings on a direct path. Approach consistently works middle to opposite field. More power will come as the frame continues to mature. Right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup into drop and drive mechanics. Athleticism play well down the mound. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with a short arm action. Hides the ball well into release. Fastball sat 74-78 mph with slight armside run. Offering works well at the bottom of the zone when located there. Pairs it with a curveball at 64-67 mph showing downward action. Can create late bite when spun well. Still developing consistent command of the offering. Very good student.
