2026 PG Colorado Indoor Showcase
Oliver Higgins is a 2028 LHP/OF with a 5-11 162 lb. frame from Waddell, AZ who attends Canyon View. Medium athletic build with lots of physical projectability remaining. Works from a high leg raise delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot, athletic delivery that gets him down the mound well and repeats well. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with nice carry to it through the zone. Curveball was a nice pitch with 2500+ rpm spin rates and was located well with both horizontal and vertical depth at times. Killed the spin on a mid-70's change up well with fading life. Very nice outing with solid starter's package of pitches. 5.02 runner in the sixty. Secondary outfielder on defense, three-quarters slot, has some arm speed with average actions, more momentum working through it will improve the process as a whole. Left-handed hitter, even base, high hands and high back elbow, simple swing with a small stride out, balanced and simple swing, loose and simple, developing timing, good building blocks to improve. Very good student. Named to the Colorado Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
