Nolan Pfannenstiel is a 2027 C/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Goddard, KS who attends Andale, Kansas. Recorded a 8.68 sixty-yard dash at the event. Young frame with proportional strength. Primary catcher had a side saddle setup with a three step footwork pattern. Longer arm action with limited quickness in the operation. Recieved well during games with limited movement back there. Would benefit from staying lower out of crouch with more explosion. The secondary defender on the infield, profiles more at a corner infield spot currently. Shows average quickness in footwork around the infield. Throws were very accurate across with a quicker release once fielded. During BP, he hit from an upright stance with an uphill bat path. Hands tend to lag into the swing and cause late contact with the ball. As the frame develops and physical maturity happens there is good project ability for Pfannenstiel. Great student.
